Hello,
Curreltly, Mayhem is not available in the French Windows Phone 8 marketplace (and I guess in some others).
Will it be available there someday ? What prevents you from distributing the application outside the US ?

I love the product and I've had a lot of fun playing around with it.

There is one thing that really bugs me because so many apps make the same mistake; why do I have configuration information and a binary updater for your app stored in MY DOCUMENTS???? MY DOCUMENTS is for MY DOCUMENTS not your app's configuration data; there is APPDATA for that.

Sorry, I don't mean to rant, but this is one of those things that drives me up the wall. :)

This happens for me too, and it's pretty bad. The windows are too small for the content, and they can't be resized. I have Windows set to the larger size, hopefully a fix for this will be added, thanks!

Ok, so I downloaded the 'droid app and used it to get the settings. which I typed into my Ipad.

FYI (in case it matters) port: 19283 -- wonder if thats a default?

Want to use this in school, but the teacher supplied iPads do not have a camera. How can I get the Port settings so I can pair up?

Hi people,

I just found the issue. It seems that if you change the size of all items in your Display Settings to greater than 100% the Windows of Mayhem don't fit all the items anymore.

Can this be fixed in the next release pls?

Hi people,

I just installed Mayhem on my Windows 8 computer and when I want to configure events the Window to configure the event is not showing all options.

See example on the Mayhem Facebook page:

Any idea how to configure Mayhem so it shows the complete Windows?

I use the Mayhem to control my X10 units and it works great.

You can choose reaction and run C:\Program Files\Common Files\X10\Common\ahcmd.exe then in the syntax

put the sendplc or sendrf depending on how your sending the signal then the house code and unit code then on or off or dim %

like this

"ahcmd.exe sendplc A1 ON" this would turn your unit assigned to A1 on ... and so on...

Hi everyone. I'm a co-host on the PowerScripting Podcast (http://powerscripting.net). We just heard about this project and thought it'd be wicked cool to have one or more project members on our show for a bit to chat about Mayhem. Our podcast revolves around Windows PowerShell, so the tail end of the story will land here (http://powershellmayhem.codeplex.com/), but I think we want someone from the core team rather than just the developer of a single module as far as getting the story out goes.

That said, I'd like to extend an invite to one or two from the core team, plus AndrewGaspar who wrote the PowerShell module.

Please reach out to us by email to feedback AT powerscripting.net and we'll get you on the schedule. We record at 9:30 PM EST on Thursdays, in case that helps anyone make a practical decision on finding the time. Although, I have to say timezones have never stopped our guests before. :)

@ anirudhranganath: I did so often look at your screen-capture video and I think the macro is the same as with you (only build-number is not the same !)

But when I start to record, the first image is saved. Then I gor the above-mentioned error. When you wish, you can contact me directly: viermaalja (ath) hotmail.com. Perhaps somewhat easier ?? Or you can sendme the macro wit instructions how to install ??

Sorry, I feel very stuped, but have no idea what goes wrong. I did also edit the macro by hand and I am for 99% sure, it is the same. Perhaps something to do with the version of Firefox or iMacros ??

Once again..... I appreciate your help very much ( and the will from your side that it comes "okay" for me !)

I did as you wrote above and got almost the same as you let see above (only Build = 7500607). I run it, but I got this error: RuntimeError: "ONDownload command was used but no download occurred (Error-code - 804)".

Before I ask you for the solution of this error, I have to ask: must I start with the startpage in FS and then play the macro, or..........? And... "run a loop" you mean, that I give a number in the macro (repeat macro) ?

Macros are used to do repetitive tasks. Like click, save etc.

Do this. Go to firefox, downlaod the iMacros extension/add-on.

Fire up the webpage with the first image (the one above).

Start recording, click save and click next. After the second page loads, stop recording.

Now edit the macro. it should look something like this:

VERSION BUILD=7500607 RECORDER=FXTAB T=1
ONDOWNLOAD FOLDER=* FILE=+_{{!NOW:yyyymmdd_hhnnss}} WAIT=YES
ONDOWNLOAD FOLDER=* FILE=+_{{!NOW:yyyymmdd_hhnnss}} WAIT=YES
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=ID:save
TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=SRC:https://dkr0d30ggygt1.cloudfront.net/img/icon_next_img-1687f3d5a8902af3d0b92636afd1616b.png

(There may be another line mentioning going to the initial page. we want that to be removed.)
Now run a loop with max = number of images you want it to be saved. It should go about doing that.

Browser macros: no idea what you mean ..........sorry

But.....................a newbie and no knowledge about programming. It's a pity, otherwise I could save all the registers of birth, marriage and dead (when I was sleeping) :) Now it tooks too long to save all this registers.

I am curious, if you can do this ???
